Please answer this question for me please, problem solving maths?

Margaret grew bean plants and carrot plants for a science experiment. She measured them every day. The bean plants grew 4 inches every day and the carrot plants grew 1 inch every day. The bean plant is now 3 inches high and the carrot plant is 4 inches high. After how many days will the bean plant be three times as high as the carrot plant?

Please answer this question for me please, problem solving maths?
"bean plants grew 4 inches every day"

"bean plant is now 3 inches high"

In t days the bean plant will be 3 + 4t inches

"carrot plants grew 1 inch every day"

"carrot plant is 4 inches high"

In t days the carrot plant will be 4 + t inches

"When will the bean be three times as high as the carrot?"

3 + 4t = 3(4 + t)

3 + 4t = 12 +3t

t = 9

check: in 9 days the bean will be 3+4×9 = 39 inches

in 9 days the carrot will be 4+9 = 13 inches

39 = 13* 3
Reply:3 days
Reply:Set up the equality. Let x=days

3+4x=(4+x)3 (This represents the fact that the bean plant started at 3 inches and will grow 4 inches a day, and that the carrot plant started at 4 inches and will grow 1 inch per day. We multiply the carrot times 3 to make it equal to the bean plant, since the bean plant will be 3 times bigger.)

Solve for x.

3+4x=(4+x)3

3+4x=12+3x

x=9 days.
