Plants growing in the dark?

If i plant a radish seed in the soil, and it receives no sunlight, will it actually grow. I will have to measure it after 3 weeks.

So, what do you think the height would most likely be. I think it would be less than 5 inches.

Do you have an idea how much a plant would grow in the dark (no sunlight) after 3 weeks? You can give information about plants in general or about radish plants.

Thank you!

The seed with sprout, but as soon as it uses up all the food in the seed itself, it will pretty much stop growing. I'd be surprised if the plant were alive at all in three weeks time; at best, you'd simply have a radish seedling with the two seed leaves, and nothing else, I suspect. I certainly wouldn't think it would be anywhere close to five inches tall.
Reply:I don't think the plant will grow at all. Light is a nutrient that is similar to eating for people. Only reason the plant grows towards the light because as it gets closer to the light it gets more light and therefor cna make more food and grow bigger, etc.
