most of them are 3-4 ft tall now but seem to be getting scraggly what would be a way to get them to green back out and have a better blooming season? they bloom good at the beginning of the year but doesn't last long.
I have about 15 rose of sharon bushes that were about 18 inches tall when i planted them 5 years ago?
You need to trim them when they stop flowering and let get new grow and maybe some good filler would help..
Reply:i had a real problem with these plants, they even sent runners all over my yard I could hardly keep up with them, but I discovered that they REALLY like water, they would even prefer swampy
ground
