I BOUGHT AND REPLANTED A BANANA PEPPER PLANT, IT NOW HAS A PEPPER ON IT ABOUT FOUR INCHES LONG. BUT IT IS GREEN AND I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL TURN YELLOW AND THEN I PICK IT OR IF I SHOULD PICK IT NOW. I HAVE READ OTHER WEBSITES SAYING THAT THEY TURN RED WHEN THEY ARE RIPE, BUT IH AVE NEVER SEEN A RED BANANA PEPPER.
When is a banana pepper ripe?
peppers may be eaten at any stage of age
Reply:depends on which plant you have red, yellow, green but that should be the correct size..
