My cat really likes to munch on plants, so I bought her a patch of oat grass so she wont chew on potentially dangerous flowers that my mom brings home. She's very pleased with it but I set it down by the window and its shot up to at least 8 inches tall!
How do I trim it without harming the grass beyond repair? Thanks!

trim it down with hand held grass clippers.
