I planted them 3 weeks ago after our first frost, we had a bit of rain and now I see they're about 2 -3 inches tall. Will they survive their first winter and still come up in the spring?
I planted graped hyacyths this fall and they're coming up, will they still grow in the spring?
They should be OK. They have enough stored food in the bulb to allow for some of nature's practical jokes. However, in the future I would wait until about now to plant spring bulbs. As long as you can dig (that is the ground isn't frozen) it OK to plant spring blooming bulbs.
Reply:they might it depends on how harsh the winter is you can allways tent them to help them along
Reply:offcource. the grapes are cool :)
