What would you reccommend to a beginner for a foreground aquarium plant?

I want something to cover my gravel like a grassy cover. I was thinking dwarf hairgrass but they grow too high. I want something small maybe 1 inch. I have cories so thats my main concern. I dont want them getting lost in the grass LOL. My main design for my tank is to have 3 tall plants and then the rest a garden of grassy plants. I know glosso and ricca is hard plant so what is there easy to buy online but is easy to maintain ? I also know that foreground plants arent easy to maintain but what is the easiest of all foreground plants?

What would you reccommend to a beginner for a foreground aquarium plant?
Definitely java moss. This stuff is great, expecially if you have egg scatterers. It is REALLY easy to maintain. It is great for low light aquariums, but if it is full of light, then it will still survive.
Reply:java moss 100%
Reply:Java moss :)

Looks nice, can be spread in a carpet, and if you kill it, you are doing something SERIOUSLY wrong! Also low light.
Reply:Taxiphyllum Barbieri better known as Java Moss would work great. Here is a overview of java moss.

hardiness: very easy

light needs: low

plant structure: Moss / Fern

family: Hypnaceae

genus: Taxiphyllum

region: Asia

location: Southeast Asia

size: infinite

growth rate: slow

can be grown emersed: yes

This plant is great for egg layers and livebearers as egglayers lay their eggs in the plant and livebearers babies hide from their canabolistic mother in the plant.

JAVA MOSS IS GREAT!
