How many gallons of water in a 16'x32' oval pool.In which 1/3 is only 3'6" deep and the remaing 2/3's is 6'6"?

I can't remember the calculation, but I need to start my chemistry set and get it up and running. Fast! Thanks in advance.

You'all have given me another problem.

Only two answers with 40,000 gallons difference!

Someone break the tie please!

So, you have all together, 60127.23 gallons of water in your pool.

I wish you well..

There are 231 cubic inches in a gallon and there are 1,728 cubic inches in a cubic foot of water.

Gallons, Deep End:

(2,218.666 x 1,728) / 231 = 16,597 gallons

Gallons, Shallow End:

(597.333 x 1,728) / 231 = 4,468 gallons

Total Gallons of Pool:

16,597 + 4,468 = 21,065 gallons

Reply:i have one one 3746
Reply:Post it in the math area!
Reply:a little over 21,000 gallons. without knowing the exact surface of the oval there is no way to tell exact gallons. all afore mentioned figures are based on a 16x32 rectangle not an oval.
