Has anyone ever grown tulips in clay pots outdoors?

If so, do you plant at the same time you would if planting in ground? How many to say, a 12 inch diameter pot?

Reply:Yes, you can grow a lot of different bulbs in pot inside!! You can force them to grow now if you have a very sunny window...try it!!

Reply:Plant them at the same time that you would plant in the ground. Make sure that the pots have holes in the bottom so that they have good drainage and protect them from freezing if necessary.
