I have a mold problem with baby plants?

They are mostly tomatoes and peppers, and are inside the house until later this month, or whenever it warms up enough to put them outside. I usually have whitefly problems, but this year, I have some kind of mold or mildew growing on top of the soil. The plants are a couple inches tall, some of them have the second leaves, some of them don't. I've had to destroy houseplants that had mold growing in/on them and am very worried about these guys. I've stirred the soil up a bit, even watered with a bit of vinegar to cut down on the fungi population. Any ideas? All I need is a couple more weeks, and then I can get them outside where the sun will get the fungi!

air circulation is what they need.take off a inch of top soil and replace with clean.brighter light might help vegetables are not house plants needs are dofferent.
Reply:Hard question. they just need dryer air.
Reply:sounds like you have what they call sour dirt of not enough drainage you could mix some lime to the dirt to sweeten it up to keep the mold from growing .lime also works good for growing fruits it will make them sweeter .
