I planted corn at 30 inch spacings with a four row planter. can i harvest it with a 6 row head combine?

Yes, You may lose a little depending on how straight you planted your rows. The way the the corn headers are designed on harvesters, you can even pick up most of the corn if you go across the rows.

yes, follow the rows. otherwise you don't pick up as much corn
Reply:Of course, unless you have Parkinson's disease.
Reply:If you planted straight, it will work. On your headlands, you might have to take only four rows if you don't have 12 or 24. Try it, and adjust your head height to the situation.

Good luck!
Reply:yes
Reply:how good a driver are you? if you planted your guess rows within a couple inches of perfect you won't even know the difference. To clarify guess rows are where one planter width matches up to the previous planter width.
