I'm doing a project where im going to have a control group of a plant, a group of plant that I'm going to apply natural fertilizer on, and a group I'm going to apply artificial fertilizer on then record their growth height. I need a plant with a short(about 4-6 inches) average growth height.
What is a good plant to experiment on?
A good plant is the Wisconsin Fast Plant.
I've been doing some tests myself and I've tried 1/4 fertilizer.
I believe this plant matches your criteria and hope you enjoy!
(You might have to do a bit of research.)
Reply:Wheat. It grows super super fast if you do it right. I did an expiement on it once. And everyone elses grew but my groups, and that's because the holes were too big in the bottom. So remember that. Good luck!
Reply:The first original plant geneticist was a monk who raised peas. The pictures showed rows of pea plants and they were short. He cross germinated them for longer pods, shorter plants, etc.
