Fish Eggs? or Plant?

So my husband, daughter %26amp; I were at the lake today and a green plant looking stick washed up to shore %26amp; it had a big gel looking bubble attached to it. The stick was probably a foot and a half long, the big glob of gel was about 5 - 7 inches long %26amp; 3 inches around. Someone said it was fish eggs, but it didn't look like fish eggs to me...it didn't have the round balls that most fish eggs have....it was just a really thick gel. Like a firm jello would be.

Does anyone have any clue as to what it is??? (the gel was a yellowish/brownish/green)

Fish Eggs? or Plant?
They are probably frog eggs.....
Reply:I am betting it's a jellyfish. here in Kansas, we have jellyfish in our reservoirs that look like a big ball of jelly like you are describing when they wash up on the bank. Frog eggs will look like a million little round balls with black spots.
