House plant identification?

Ok, I posted this before and had no luck. I think this is a common plant, but maybe not. Its only about 8 inches tall right now. The stem is red as are parts of the leaves, in like stripes coming out from the stem. The leaves are thick and fleshy. I can't get a picture of it. I think I found it before but I lost the internet page. For some reason, plectranthus cilatus comes to mind, but I know it's not that. Perhaps it sounds like that..?

House plant identification?
i was thinking some sort of peperomia (not at all sure of spelling), as another answerer is above. the thick, fleshy leaf is a good place to start id, most such would be a kind of plant type called a succulent. in fact ,it appears that most answers are identifying various succulents as possibilities. maybe you could look through pics of succulents? would at least reduce the number of plants to review. it might be helpful if you could describe the shape of the leaf for us. so far I've got a thick fleshy leaf with red stripes, so shape and length of leaf might help those trying to id.
Reply:plectranthus aka coleus: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im...

The leaves aren't fleshy as you describe.

Leaf shape? Ovate, lanceolate, spadate....serrated, dentated.... would be helpful for ID.
Reply:Does it have a trunklike stem? Some types of elephant bush have red stems and red streaks on the leaves and are sold all over the place.
Reply:Perperomia rubella?
