Planted grass at my house, and wondering if I should fertilize. The grass has sprouted and the blades are about 1 inch tall.
Does anyone know of a good fertilizer to help jumpstart a new bermuda lawn without burning it?
Milorganite is the fertilizer of choice for lawn, bushes, plants or trees... slow release and won't burn!
I live in region 9 Central Florida twice a year I fertilize with it... got that tip from a landscaper in my area...
Reply:dont do it on the first month, read the instruction of the fertilizer and choose the best option to your grass, if you put to much of the product it would burn, if not it wont. Remember that the fertilizer takes at least 20 days to make effect.
Reply:I would not fertilize for the first month, but Milorganite is good and safe.
