I am growing lemon plants indoors. They get great light and the right temperatures. They were growing quite fast, but stopped growing about a week ago, at about 3 inches tall. They still look very healthy though. When the soil is dry, there are a few white parts on the surface... is this mold? How do I save them?
Lemon plants stopped growing?
Genetically, they are setting flowers now,so stop growing as the energy is put into the fruit making process.Your tiny plants might not make flowers, but will still be bred to stop growing for a while at this time
Reply:i wouldnt think mold would be growing on the soil. that is nutrients in the soil to help them grow.
also, plants grow slower as they get bigger, so it could be growing, but not very fast. i mean you only waited a week...give it some time
