When do I transplant my Sequoia Sempervirens outside?

I started a Coastal Redwood from seed. It is about 2 inches high. I live in PA, around Philadelphia--when can I plant it outside? How big should It be before I transplant it outdoors? Also, how fast will it grow? Like in ten years or so approximately how tall will it be? Thanks!

Transplant it into a bigger pot, a 6" pot would be ideal and move it into a protected spot outdoors. As it grows keep repotting. when it gets to about 30cm you can plant it out.

Plant it out in spring, choose a place with fertile, deep soil and use plenty of mulch. Water regularly through its first summer.

In ten years you should expect about 10m growth.
Reply:after the last frost. slow to medium growth rate. maximum height 40-60'.
